Terms of service
Draft — not yet reviewed. Last updated 14 October 2026.
The service and who provides it
lexmem keeps a record of what you know of a language — which words and grammar points you have met, which you are learning and which you know — and shares it with the apps you connect to it, so each of them can build on what the others have seen. It is provided by [legal name], a sole trader (autónomo) registered in Spain, NIF [number], [postal address] ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to these terms.
Accounts
You create a lexmem account from inside an app that connects to it. You must be at least 14 years old, confirm your email address before your first sign-in, and keep your password to yourself. One person, one account.
Connected apps
An app reaches your record only after you allow it on the consent screen, and only with the access shown there: to read your record, to add to it, or both. Each app is provided by someone else under its own terms and privacy policy, which the consent screen links. lexmem stores the items, counters and states an app records; it never stores text from your conversations, and it never decides what an app teaches you. You can disconnect an app at any time from an app that offers it, which revokes its access.
Acceptable use
Do not try to reach another person's account or record, or the systems lexmem runs on; do not send it more automated traffic than the apps serving one learner would; do not use it to break the law.
Ending
You can delete your account at any time, from an app that offers it or by writing to privacy@lexmem.tech; deletion removes your whole record, as the privacy policy describes. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, telling you why by email. If lexmem ever shuts down, we will tell you in advance and give you time to export your record.
Liability
lexmem is provided as it is. Nothing in these terms limits a right you have under the law of the country you live in.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, we will email you before the change takes effect.
